We are delighted to be announcing, The Asian Sorority Club partnership with Hope for Children.
We aim to raise £10,000 to help the charity’s work across India helping some of the country’s most vulnerable children and their families.
The Sorority Club Founder, Minal Amin, expressed her thoughts on the partnership, “We think that the work being done by Hope for Children is absolutely incredible and it is a cause we can’t help but get behind. India is a country close to all our members’ hearts and that is why we are aiming to raise at least £10,000 over the next year”
Hope for Children, founded in 1994 by Dr Bob Parsons OBE, had a vision to help vulnerable children and families in countries across Asia, Africa and here in the UK who fell through the gaps of support by the larger charities. To this day, Hope for Children is improving children’s access to education and healthcare, whilst empowering their families to support themselves by developing their confidence and self-esteem. Most importantly, they are giving them hope.
Murielle Maupoint, Hope for Children’s Chief Executive commented “Our partnership with The Asian Sorority Club is very exciting. India is a priority area for us, with 50,000 children living on the streets of Delhi alone, and the support of The Asian Sorority Club members will enable us to carry out more of this critical work.”
